Join members of the Workshops are for anyone interested in being a part of the Fall Flag Corp or Winter guard that will begin competing Winter 09/10. If we have enough interest we will do some performances this Winter and Spring, but next year will be the official beginning of Winter guard. We will be meeting Tuesday January 27th, 515-7 in the band room for flag and dance work, 7-8 will be for returners only for rifle work. Dance technique and flag technique will be taught. Students will be challenged to learn about this unique and amazing art! Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and either bare feet or dance shoes. Pull hair back out of face and please no jeans! Equipment will be available to be used on site but will not be loaned out. If you are interested in purchasing your own, you will need an aluminum 6 foot pole, in black, a weight and a red practice flag with the larger dimensions for a 6 foot pole.
