Miss Rose has been dancing for 42 years and teaching/choreographing 29 of those years.  She is a 1987 graduate of
Sissonville High School and a 2004 Cum Laude graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a BA in Organizational
Leadership and Development.  On November 15, 2010 she completed a Master of Science in Leadership from
Wheeling Jesuit University.  In her spare time she works as the Executive Administrator in Placements with
International Cultural Exchange Services.
Rose began dancing at the age of 5 with Jean Smithers in Belle, WV.  Miss Jean was also her mother’s dance
teacher in the 1950’s.  Throughout her career she studied under various instructors both locally and nationally such
as Mr. Deturio, Deanna Edens, Donna Dan, Connie Percozzi, the late Gus Giordano, Lynda Gauche, Jerry Rose,
Anthony LaCascio, the late Tommy Walsh and many others.  Rose opened her own studio in 1999 after Deanna's
School of
Dance closed its doors.  Each year the studio has grown artistically.  There are now 3 levels of competition teams and
classes for ages 3 through adult.  Rose believes you never have to stop dancing and her first dance job was teaching
a group of retired ladies tap.  It is from this job that her inspiration began.  Nancy Ruddle, a student of that class was a
classically trained ballerina in the 1930's and saw something in Rose that told her she would someday own her own
studio and share her love of dance with many others.  12 years later, that became a reality.  Rose now instructs the
competition teams along with other classes in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary and lyrical.  She also works on a
contract basis for color guard choreography, judging events and presenting workshops/seminars.

Rose truly believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn about dance.  It brings to the eye what music stirs in
our souls.

Other credits for Rose include:
2016 Rifle and Visual Tech for Hurricane HS Marching Band/Flags
2016 Designer/Choreographer for Flags with Greenbrier East HS

Miss Ashton
Student Assistant
Hi, I’m Ashton Settle.  I am fifteen soon to be
sixteen and I attend George Washington High
School.  I am now a sophomore and my favorite
subject would have to be science.  I hope to one
day major in occupational therapy and as a side
job have my own studio.  I have always had a
passion for dance.  I am currently on the senior
team and have been for three years now.  But that
doesn’t include all my years of dance.  I have
danced for RM Productions since I was three.  And
if you are good with math that shows I have been
with the studio for 12/13 years.  I have also taught
for two years as a student assistant.  My favorite
genre of dance would have to be lyrical.  I have
loved lyrical ever since I did my first lyrical solo to “It’
s the climb” when I was eight!  Dance isn’t just a
hobby I do for fun, dance is a form of
communication I have grown into loving.  Dance
allows one to express your feelings through a way
of body language and moving without saying a
word.  I couldn’t imagine my life without dance.  I
am truly blessed from God to be able to dance,
and I could not appreciate it enough what gift he
has given me.
